Pemberton Twp. Education Foundation, Inc.
The Pemberton Township Education Foundation (PTEF) is an independent foundation managed by a Board of Trustees as a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. Working in close collaboration with the Board of Education, school superintendent, greater community partners and families, its mission is to provide aid to the Pemberton Township Schools for programs, facility upgrades, educational resources and equipment and student scholarships which are not a part of the regular school budget.
Meet the Officers
Ingrid Campbell, EdD-President
Ingrid is a proud graduate of the Pemberton Township High School Class of 1980. She is married to Sam (Class of 1975), and together they are proud parents of Pemberton graduates from the Classes of 2003 and 2007. Ingrid brings extensive experience in community engagement and education advocacy.
Advocacy and community empowerment are the core principles guiding Ingrid’s community involvement. Her efforts include a two-year fundraising campaign as Public Relations lead for the original Imagination Kingdom Playground planning team. Ingrid also served on the Pemberton Township Board of Education during the landmark Abbott court decision, which granted Pemberton and 29 other qualifying school districts across New Jersey enhanced Department of Education funding to promote equity among historically underfunded districts. This funding supported significant improvements in our facilities, technology, and classrooms, and introduced the ultimate construction of our Pemberton Early Childhood Education Center on Arney’s Mount Road in Pemberton. The district had the distinction of being the first five-star rated school district Grow NJ Kids program in the state!
Ingrid has managed grant administration for Professional Impact NJ at Kean University and Princeton University's Wilson STEM Teacher MST program at Rutgers University-Camden, and has provided grant writing support for RFPs, as well as philanthropic and state grant submissions. As a lifelong educator that spans early childhood to graduate school, Ingrid's areas of expertise include special education advocacy and supporting higher education retention for first-generation and adult learners. Terry Maldonado-Vice President
Terry has been a lifelong resident of Pemberton Township, is a dedicated mother of two, and a proud grandmother of seven. Deeply committed to service, compassion and community, she has spent her life empowering others and strengthening her hometown, one connection at a time.
As a 1984 graduate of PTHS, Terry brings over 20 years of educational and civic leadership to PTEF. With over 12 years of experience working in the Pemberton Township School District and 12 years of service on the Board of Education, she has played a pivotal role in shaping educational policy and supporting students, families and staff. She completed extensive NJ School Boards training to become a certified BOE leader. Terry also serves as a member of the Pemberton Township Planning Board to further advance the growth of the community. Her commitment to healthy youth outcomes is evident through more than 10 years of coaching township baseball, where she mentored youth with care and guidance. Terry is an active member of the St. Ann's Church and has volunteered over two decades at its annual summer carnival as well as being a Bingo caller. Community engagement includes Terry's time as a volunteer for the Food Bank of New Jersey, leading workshops that empower women with skills in power tool use and basic home repairs to create a greater sense of independence and empowerment for the participants.
As Vice President of PTEF, Terry will continue to bring community development, boardsmanship and vision building to the Foundation. She will continue to champion enhanced educational experiences, encouraging family engagement and supporting innovative programs that inspire growth and achievement for our Pemberton Township children and community.

Anjelica Carr-Secretary
Anjelica Carr (Bey) is a proud resident of Pemberton Township and a dedicated public servant committed to fostering community growth, educational opportunity, and empowerment. She currently serves on the Pemberton Township Planning Board and holds the position of Vice President for the Central New Jersey Professional Chapter of Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Incorporated.
In her role on the Planning Board, Anjelica actively contributes to the township’s long-term vision through sustainable development, community preservation, and strategic planning. Her leadership within Lambda Tau Omega focuses on advancing women, promoting academic excellence, and advocating for children and families.
Anjelica holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and brings a strong background in financial literacy and community development. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to her hometown and a belief in the power of service to create lasting, positive change.
As an officer of the Pemberton Township Education Foundation, Anjelica is dedicated to helping students thrive by supporting equitable access to quality education and meaningful enrichment opportunities. She believes that when communities unite with purpose and passion, they can build a brighter future for generations to come.
Kenneth Willitts Jr.-Treasurer
Kenny Willitts has been a lifelong resident of Pemberton Township and a proud member of the Pemberton Township High School Class of 2010. Since 2015, Kenny has been employed full-time by the Township of Pemberton, starting in the Recreation Department and now serving in the Finance Department. His professional experience spans municipal operations, community engagement and financial administration.
In addition to his work in the township, Kenny has been actively involved in numerous nonprofit and community-based initiatives. He served as the Events Coordinator for Whitesbog Historic Village, organized the Relay for Life of New Egypt for many years, and continues to support causes like Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Kenny brings a strong background in fundraising, grant writing, and event planning, with a focus on building meaningful partnerships and delivering impactful results.
With a passion for public service and a deep-rooted connection to the community, Kenny is committed to helping shape a bright and sustainable future for Pemberton Township-where tradition meets progress, and Hornet Pride continues to thrive!
